If you're anything like me, you probably have lots of unfinished quilts put away somewhere patiently waiting for their moment to shine.
We all have those quilts we started with enthusiasm, only to put it aside later for a new quilt that catches our eye. That's totally OK.
Introducing WIP Wednesday: A Weekly Quilty Boost
Drumroll, please... WIP Wednesday!
Yes, it’s the day I dedicate to working on my Works In Progress (WIPs) and giving them a little quilty love.
On Wednesdays, I’ll be sharing my current WIP quilt here on the blog. You’ll get a peek at the fabrics I’m using and see exactly where I’m at in the process.

Today’s Peek: My 8 Inch EPP Hexagon Rose Block
Here’s one of my 8 inch English Paper Pieced Hexagon Rose blocks, made from scraps of my Patches of Friendship cover quilt using the beautiful Bonheur de Jour fabric line by Moda.
I used 1" fusible EPP shapes that don’t need to be removed — a total game changer! This saves so much time and hassle.

Want to Make This Block Too?
What have you been working on? Let me know in the comments!
If you want to work on the same block with me, I’m offering a free Cricut-friendly SVG cut file for the shapes in today’s WIP — including fabric templates.
This is an 8" English Paper Pieced Rose block. Don’t have a Cricut or other cutting machine? No problem! You can buy individual fusible shapes directly from my website (links below)..
If you don’t want to buy individual shapes, I also offer a variety pack with 25 of each shape— hexagons, half hexagons, triangles, diamonds, and jewels. It’s perfect for making multiple blocks or experimenting with different designs.
You can find the variety pack and individual fusible shapes here on my website.
Materials Needed for the 8" EPP Hexagon Rose Block
Instead of cardstock, I’m using 1" fusible shapes.
To make this block, you’ll need:
(1) hexagon
(18) half hexagons
(24) equilateral triangles
(6) 60-degree diamonds
