LET'S WORK TOGETHER!

To get started, fill out the form below.

GETTING YOUR QUILT READY TO LONGARM

What size should my backing be?

I require the backing to be 4" extra ON ALL SIDES.

So, if you have a quilt top that's 60" x 80", your backing should be 68" x 88".

It can be bigger, not smaller.

Extra fees apply if it takes me extra time & effort getting your quilt ready to load.

I'm passionate about giving you results you will love, but it takes TEAMWORK!

That means if you have questions, ASK ME.

TIDY IT UP!

Please press your top & backing so that it's nice, tidy,  and ready to load.

Please clip stray threads or raveling fabrics as best as you can.

Please don't skip this step! If you do, dark threads can show through your quilt top.

QUILTING CHOICE

You always have the option to select the design you want on your quilt.

I want this to be fun for you, not overwhelming!

If you'd rather me make the quilting decisions for you, I can.

It all depends on your purpose for the quilt.

PRICING DISCLOSURE: The current rate is 3 cents per square inch.

QUILTING DESIGN:

Please choose from the following options

THREAD PREFERENCE: My design preference is to match the thread to the fabrics in your quilt that are lightest in value, using neutrals a lot.

Please choose from the following options

BATTING PREFERENCE:  Most of the batting I use is on a 93" roll. I will use only what is needed for your quilt (smallest side + a 5" margin) and charge per inch. For example, if you have a 60" x 80" quilt, I would cut 65" inches of the batting of your choice.  • 65" of 100% cotton @ $0.42/in =  $27.30 • 65" of 80/20 cotton/poly blend @ $0.46/in = $29.90 • 65" of 100% poly @ $0.35/in = $22.75

BACKING FABRIC: In order to give you the best results possible, please ensure that your backing fabric is a total of 8" wider and 8" longer than your quilt top. This gives me at least 4" of margin on each side of the quilt top. Your backing can be larger but not smaller.

TRIMMING AFTER QUILTING: Please note I do not offer trimming or binding services.
