RATES
Square Inch Price
I offer computerized edge-to-edge quilting. I charge 3 cents per square inch, not including batting. Currently, I do not offer custom quilting services.
Example: A quilt top is 60 inches x 80 inches. 60 x 80 = 4800 x .025 = $120.

My minimum quilting charge is $50.
This means that a small quilt or table runner's square inch price will be rounded up to the $50 minimum.

Batting
You have several batting choices for your quilt. I mainly use Quilters Dream batting (80/20 cotton/poly blend, 100% cotton, or 100% poly). If you'd like Quilter's Dream in wool or bamboo, please ask. Hobbs or Warm and Natural are also available.

Batting is charged separately and at retail pricing. It is NOT included in the square inch price.
I charge for batting by the linear inch. I will use only what is needed for your quilt (the smallest side + 5" margin). I am happy to return the excess batting to you when your quilt is returned.
For example, if you have a 60" x 80" quilt, I would cut 65" of the batting. The below prices are figured using Quilter's Dream as the batting.
65" of 100% cotton deluxe loft @ $0.40/in = $26.00
65" of 80/20 cotton/poly blend @ $0.33/in = $21.45
65" of 100% poly @ $0.26/in = $16.90
Thread
I prefer and use So Fine threads. I also have a limited selection of Glide threads. When using Glide, it has a sheen. If you prefer I not use Glide on your quilt, let me know.

There is a $5 thread charge that is NOT included in your square inch price. Additional charges apply for specialty thread or dense designs.
I attempt to match or blend thread color with the lighter areas of your quilt. This is entirely up to YOU! So, let me know if you have a preference on thread color.
Shipping
I live in Georgia, USA, and would be happy to receive your top and backing by mail. I recommend sending your materials enclosed in some kind of plastic bag to protect against possible moisture in transit and then placed in a hard-sided cardboard box. Make sure the box is securely taped and labeled clearly.
Return shipping: I will send your quilt back to you in the manner described above via USPS Priority mail (using flat rate when possible/economical). Priority mail comes with $50 of insurance and a tracking number, but please indicate on your intake form if you would like any additional insurance.
Other Costs
As mentioned above, batting is not included in the square inch price. I'm required by the state to collect sales tax on the batting portion of your quilt if you are also in Georgia.
